Lego Games

Several years ago, my husband and I began playing two player games on Saturday nights. These are the equivelent to "family nights" for us. There is no better way to spend a cold winter night for us. We have made our way through Halo 1 & 2, Baldar's Gate and several other team playing games. Our newest favorites are the Lego games of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman. We just completed Batman last week and are now anxiously awaiting another Lego series. Batman was especially fun because you are able to play as Batman and the good guys, you get a complete similar (but different) set of levels from the bad guys point of view. So it makes it twice as long and twice as fun. Many people did not like the Batman game because it wasn't the "authentic style of Batman". It is just a game and exactly what we were looking for to play together. The problem right now is that we have completed all the levels, gotten all of the kits and red blocks, completed Arkham Asylum and Wayne Manor, but it is saying that we are only 91% complete. There must be some secret levels somewhere and I can't find any reference to the missing parts on the Internet. As far as the Star Wars games went, we purchased the two separate games for movies 1-3 and 4-6. The last movies made the best game. Indiana Jones was ok. You got the same action from the game, but it was a bit boring. One of the best things about the Lego games is that you can blow up just about anything or anyone without the gore and nasty visuals that come with most of the games. I highly recommend the Lego games and we are anxiously awaiting the next series...maybe Harry Potter? |
